About The Author
Daniel Lee was born in rural northwest Pennsylvania in 1972 and married his wife, Clara, in 1991, just before his nineteenth birthday. Together they raised twelve biological children and adopted another while serving as missionaries in South America from 2008 to 2013. Their work there continues today through a mission farm they help fund, providing jobs and food for local families.
Daniel and Clara now have twenty-two grandchildren, with their four youngest children still at home. Over the years, they have built a successful network of service-based businesses operating in more than thirty-five states. Their success has allowed Daniel to support two sober-living facilities and help several families secure housing when traditional financing wasn’t available. Their mission has always been simple: help people recognize their potential and the impact they can make.
Daniel has spent most of his life studying Scripture, often questioning traditional interpretations that don’t fully align with the text. By comparing passages across the Bible, he believes the intended meaning becomes clearer.
His book, A Publican’s Quest for Truth, explores these insights—focusing especially on the story of Zacchaeus. Daniel plans to continue the series with future titles such as Woman at the Well, From the Cross to Paradise, At the Rich Man’s Gate, and Sell All That You Have. His hope is to inspire readers to seek truth for themselves, trusting Jesus’ promise that those who seek will find.
